William Green was born on January 28, 1948 in Blackstone, Virginia to the union of David and Annie Friend Green, he departed this life on August 20, 2008 in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Donna L. Green; his stepchildren, Robert, Nonja and Chris; mother-in-law, Dorothy Gray; two sisters, Carrie M. Green and Geraldine Green; two brothers Richard L. Green and Sylvester E. Green (Sheila); two sisters-in-law, Dorothy A. Gomes (Amando) and Dorothy Sorrell (Billy; two brothers-in-law, David Gray (Barbara)and English Gray (Sharon) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Cedar Hill Funeral Home, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, Maryland on on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 10:30 AM until the service at 11:30 AM. Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland.
