Obituary
Whitsel Gene Jackson was born on January 13, 1944, in Philadelphia, PA. He peacefully transitioned from earth on October 31, 2025.
Whitsel was loved and cherished by many. His warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 14, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, located at 2409 Ainger Pl SE, Washington, DC, 20020. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM., with the funeral service following immediately afterward.
The internment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
