With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Terri D'ann Williams- Whitmire, who was called home on December 31,2025, at the age of 62

surrounded by love.

Terri was born to Edward and Gloria Williams in Fort Worth, Texas. She later moved during her childhood to Maryland, growing up in Ardmore before settling in Glenarden as a teenager. She attended Prince George's County Public Schools and proudly graduated from Duval High School in 1982. Terri was the best mother and grandmother one could dream of—selfless, devoted, and loving. She was always showed up for her children, grandchildren, family and friends with her beautiful smile and warm humorous personality, always putting their needs before her own. She was a women of strength and resilience, a fighter in every sense of the word, who beat breast cancer with courage and determination and also overcoming countless odds throughout her life. Throughout life's challenges she pushed for peace, understanding and love—leaving a lasting example for all who knew her. Terri was admired for her efficiency, grace and professionalism as a devoted government worker for over 30 years. She worked for both the Department of Defense and the U.S Department of State in which she retired from.

She is survived by her three beloved children: Samuel Whitmire Jr., Amir Whitmire and Naeem Whitmire; and her 4 cherished grandchildren, Zaniya , Ahsha, Dior and Dailen. She was preceded in death by both parents Edward Williams Sr. and Gloria Williams and her brother Edward Williams Jr. Terri's beautiful spirit will be forever remembered by her devoted children, grandchildren family and friends. Her life was a blessing and her memory will remain a guiding light to all who loved her.
