Teresa J. Cook, 85, of Palm Coast, FL passed away on July 3, 2016. Teresa was born in Capitol Heights, Maryland and grew up in the Washington D.C. area. She resided in District Heights, MD until she moved to Palm Coast in 2006.

Teresa worked as a cashier at Al's Auto Service and then went on to work for the Department of Commerce. She started as a teller at the Dept of Commerce Federal Credit Union and then became an Administrative Secretary for the Dept of Commerce Design and Graphics Division. She retired from that position and moved to Florida.

Teresa loved to dance! When she was younger, she especially enjoyed the Moonlight Cruises that departed from the dock at Marshall Hall in Indian Head, MD. Teresa also loved attending parties and social events. She enjoyed her time spent organizing her class reunions with her fellow classmates.

Teresa will be sadly missed by her daughter Maria Falkenhagen, Palm Coast; by her son Antonio Young, Hyattsville, MD; by her granddaughter Jeanine Hoffman (Joe); by her grandson John Young; and by her great-granddaughters Alex and Abby Hoffman.

Services will be held at Cedar Hill Funeral Home in Suitland, MD on Tuesday, July 12. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm, with funeral services beginning at 12pm.
