It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sylvester Johnson Sr, born on June 26, 1946 in Washington, DC. He peacefully departed this life on November 18, 2024.

Sylvester was the beloved son of Carol James Johnson and Addie Lee Barfield. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be held in the hearts of his family and friends.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, December 2nd, 2024 at Israel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, with services to follow.

Sylvester's warmth, kindness, and spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
