Susie Pitts was born February 1, 1943, in New Berry County, South Carolina, and transitioned on October 5, 2025, leaving an enduring legacy of love and faith.

A devoted mother, she touched many with her grace, generosity, gentleness, nurture, and unwavering devotion. Beloved, cherished, adoring, witty, and fabulous in spirit, she brought comfort and joy to family and friends alike.

A celebration of Susie's life will take place Saturday, October 18, at The Chapel at Cedar Hill, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, MD 20746, with the family receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the service to follow.
