Sheila Elizabeth Forbes was born in Washington, D.C. on June 26, 1953, and departed her earthly life on Saturday, March 18, 2023, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is survived by one son, Ronald T. Powell, Jr.; one daughter, Asiah M. Forbes; devoted mother, Frances Smith, and stepfather, Charlie Smith; four sisters, Marlette (Mark) Waddy, Jacqueline Forbes, Robin (Solomon) Lewis, and Tracey (Gene) Gray; five brothers, William R. Forbes, Lawrence (Tanina) Forbes, Kevin Forbes, William (Stepfanie) Forbes, Jr., and Joe Louis Dean, Jr.; 13 nieces and 19 nephews; many great nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Sheila was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was loved by many and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
