Saundra Marie Shorter was born on December 21, 1956, in Washington DC to Justice Williams and Dorothy Jones. Throughout her life, Saundra exuded a deep love for children, bringing joy and warmth wherever she went. Her true passion lay in the art of sewing, a skill she honed and cherished throughout her days.

On May 3, 2024, Saundra departed this world, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of family who will forever cherish her memory. Her vibrant and pleasant spirit touched the lives of all those around her, and the loss of her presence will be keenly felt by many.

In honor of Saundra's life, a celebration of her legacy will take place on Monday, May 20th, at the Cedar Hill Funeral Home. The family will be welcoming friends from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, followed by a service to commemorate and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman who will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
