December 21, 1950 - June 24, 2024

Rose D. Turner-Jordan, affectionately known as "Baby Rose or Bae Rose" was born on December 21, 1950 to Shirley Virginia Turner-Scott and raised by Shirley and Percy Calvin Scott in Washington, DC.

On June 24, 2024, she made her transition. Baby Rose was educated in the District of Columbia Public School System. She graduated from Anacostia High School.

She was employed by the General Service Administration (GSA) as a Management and Program Analyst and retired with over 40 years of service.

A celebration of Rose's life will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Cedar Hill Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember her. The visitation will take place from 11 am to 12 noon, followed by a service commemorating her life. Finally, Rose will be laid to rest at the tranquil grounds of Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in the Frederick Douglas (FD) section.
