OBITUARY

Ronald Chloe was the fourth child born to Anthony Sr. & Vivian Chloe on October 12, 1950.

He transitioned to his heavenly home on August 23, 2023.

A stellar student, Ronald graduated from McKinley Tech High School. He spent some time at Howard University before eventually graduation from the University of DC with BS in Mathematics.

Throughout his professional career, Ronald excelled as a Professor of Mathematics at UDC, a computer engineer  at Boeing in Wichita, KS, a computer analyst at Syncotech in Maryland and most recently, a computer analyst at CACI. A true giver at heart, Ronald used his gift to bless others, as he often lent his mathematical skills to family & friends. And his profession blessed him, as it afforded him the luxury of traveling to many amazing places like Spain and aboard submarines and navy ships.

But none of those places could compare to where he was on January 19, 1973. It was on this day in Washington, DC that he met the woman who was to become his beautiful wife, Sandral Stancil (whom he affectionately called Dianne). They married July 18, 1977, and spent the next 46years loving each other. From that union came two wonderful children (Diron Cornelius & Veronica Faith), one incredible daughter-in-law (Djenaba), and four amazing grandchildren (Diron Jr., Ronald II, Emmanuel & Amani). And if you knew Ronald, you knew that his family was his pride and joy. In fact, his favorite past time (outside of watching old western films and listening to Motown music), was bragging about his kids & grandkids, in his own quiet southern way.

The Only thing that could match the love for his family was his love for God. Ronald, along with his wife and son, was baptized into the New Macedonia Baptist Church. he later joined Ebenezer AME Church in 1985; during which time he was a trustee, working in the homeless and tutorial ministries, was briefly a member of the men's choir, an officer of the men's fellowship and an accounting team leader.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Anthony Sr. & Vivian Chloe; siblings Barbara (George) Ford &Patricia (William Nunnaly.  He leaves to celebrate his life and legacy his loving wife Sandral Chloe; children Diron (Djenaba) Chole  Sr & Veronica Chloe; grandchildren Diron Jr., Ronald II, Emmanuel &Amani; siblings Janice (Robert) Pearson, Anthony Chloe Jr, Marilyn Chloe, Linda (Boyd) Prophet, Karen Chloe, Diane Chloe-Bryant, Gail (Daryl) Spencer, Daryl (Marcella) Chloe & Pamela Chloe; in-laws Irene Stancil, Joh (Mary) Stancil, Edna Watson, William (Jean) Stancil, Lavern McNeil, Pansy (Glen Diaz &Felicia McGhee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, & friends.
