Portia Allen was born on February 11, 1928, in Washington D.C., she transitioned peacefully on May 16, 2026.
Portia was a beloved mother who was loved and cherished by all who knew her and will be truly missed.
A celebration of Portia's life will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at St Benedict the Moor Catholic Church, located at 320 21st St NE, Washington, DC 20002. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with service to follow.
Following the service, the inurnment will take place at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery for those of you who wish to the family.
