Of Seattle, WA; formerly of Washington, DC and Upper Marlboro, MD; beloved son of Marion Young-Perkins and the late Elwood Young, Jr.; grandson of Marion Lewis-Way; step-grandson of Joe Way; seven brothers and sisters; and a number of aunts, uncles, a great aunt, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Cedar Hill Funeral Home, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, MD on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am.
Interment will be on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 11:00 am in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 113011 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623.
