Pamela Thompson Little transitioned peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at her home in Washington, DC.

Pamela, known to family and friends simply as "Pam," was born Pamela Maria Thompson on March 16, 1963 in Washington, D.C.  She was the eldest daughter of the late Leroy Thompson and Sandra James Thompson.  She had one younger sister whom she was very close to, Lisa Thompson.

Pam received her education in DC Public Schools. She graduated from Ballou Senior High School in 1981.  She began working for the federal government's Department on Defense while she was still in high school, and she served there until her passing. She was revered and adored by her many colleagues. Her career as a security specialist at the Department of Defense spanned nearly 40 years.

On May 25, 1991, Pam married Reginald Little. From their union came two lovely children, Joshua and Brianna Little. While she raised her children and worked full time, Pam earned an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Strayer University.

Pam loved to go places, and she especially enjoyed traveling with her family. It was important to Pam to instill a love of adventure and curiosity about the world in her children. She was known to go on road trips to North Carolina to visit family, and she went on numerous cruises with her sister and children. She traveled extensively until her health began to decline. Pam also loved reading, politics, dining at local restaurants, and going to the movies.

Pamela Little will be dearly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.  She will live on in the hearts of her children, Joshua L. Little and Brianna M. Little, her husband Reginald G. Little, her sister, Lisa M. Thompson, her mother, Sandra J. Thompson, as well as a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws, other family members and friends.
