Muriel Stewart Sweatt, born on October 7, 1925, in Washington, D.C., peacefully passed away on March 31, 2025. She leaves behind a loving family and a multitude of friends who will deeply miss her.

A celebration of Muriel's life will take place on Saturday, April 12, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, located at 400 D Street SE, Washington, D.C. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the service.

Following the celebration, Muriel will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Suitland, Maryland. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
