Mary Ann Taylor was born on August 11, 1913 in Estill, South Carolina to the union of the late William and Rebecca Williams Washington. She made her transition to her Heavenly home on Friday, December 20, 2008 in Washington, DC
She was married to the late James Lorton Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her legacy; her children, Walter Taylor (Zubie), John W. Taylor, Sr., Robert Taylor (Maria), Margueritte Taylor, Ronald Payne and Matthew Taylor; her siblings, Laura Wadell (Charles), Virgie Muhammed (Charles); a host of grandchildren, other relative and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Canaan Baptist Church, 1607 Monroe Street, NW Washington, DC from 10:00 AM until the Funeral at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Suitland, Maryland.
