Martha Jane Robinson was born on October 14, 1934 in Monroeville, Alabama to the late Joe Tolbert Sr. and Ethel McCants. She transitioned peacefully in Washington, DC on September 19, 2026. 

Martha was a loving sister to many; she was cherished by all who knew her and will truly be missed. 

A celebration of Martha's life will be held on October 2, 2026, at Cedar Hill Funeral Home. The family will welcome friends from 11am to 12pm with services to follow after. Following the service, the internment will take place at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery for those who wish to join.
