Lucille Metts Anderson was born on July 1, 1932, in Charlotte, NC, she transitioned peacefully on August 21, 2026.

Lucille was a mother to many and cherished by all who knew her, she will truly be missed.

A celebration of Lucille's life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Cedar Hill Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am with services to follow. For those who wish to join us, following services the internment will take place at Washington National Cemetery in Suitland, MD.
