Lisa Marie Barnes made her transition from this earthly existence to be with her beloved son Sequan, her brother Fredrick, her father and others in Heaven on Monday, May 26, 2008.
She was born on July 3, 1967 in Washington, DC the youngest of eight children born to the union of Catherine M. Barnes and the late Robert Barnes, Sr.
Lisa is survived by her children; Freddie A. Barnes, Antonio T. Abney, Terrell D. Abney and Samyah Barnes; her mother; Catherine M. Barnes; her siblings; Robert "PO" Barnes, Jr., Raymond A. Barnes, Sr. (Deborah), Linda B. Perry (Benjamin), Cathy M. Barnes, Sharon D. Barnes, Cynthia K. Barnes and Sylvia R. Stewart (Roy). She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Cedar Hill Funeral Home, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, MD on Monday, June 2, 2008 from 9AM until the service at 11:00AM.
Interment in the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Suitland, MD.
