Obituary
Lela H Banks was born on September 15, 1933, in Darlington County, SC, she transitioned on July 9, 2025.
Lela was cherished her family deeply and was loved by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will be profoundly missed.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, July 28th, at First Baptist Church located at 712 Randolph Street NW, Washington, DC 20011
The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 10:30am with the service to follow. Following services, Lela will be laid to rest at Quantico Veterans Cemetery in Triangle, Va.
