On friday, March 9, 2012: the beloved wife of the late Sidney Burl Battle; loving mother of Ronald Battle, Reginald Battle, Juan Battle, Valerie Veney, Tanya Kee and the late Henry Battle; sister of James Jackson; also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Bible Way Church, 1100 New Jersey Avenue N.W., Washington, DC on Monday, March 19, from 10 A.M. until the Homegoing Celebration at 11 A.M. Interment in the Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
