Juanita Cerise Cannon born on January 8,1934 at Columbia Hospital For Women in Washington, DC.  She was born to proud parents Eudora and Howard Cannon (both deceased). On June 3, 2018,Juanita passed at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Juanita was raised in Washington DC.  She graduated from Cardoza High School.  She worked at Mayflower Diner in Washington DC as a cashier for 20 years  before going to work for the Federal Government at the Senate Building for 23 years. After retirement from the government she went to work for the University of the District of Columbia as a Home Care Aid for the elderly for 10 years.

Juanita leaves behind a sister Joan Lorretta Ginyard,  Children:  Denise Cannon-Earl (daughter and son-in law Sidney Earl), Servel Cannon (son), Hiawatha Summers(son) and deceased son Karriem Muhammad (aka Charles),  Grandson Karrien Muhammad   and Great grand Daughter Khamille Muhammad and Deceased Grand daughter Stacy Cannon. She also leaves a host of close Family the Allens, Shacklefords, Wests and Williams who have all supporter her through her life . Thanks to all her Friends and associates . The family would like to give a special  thanks to her Staff friends at Arcola Nursing Home Kathleen, Margaret, Stephanie , Sam, Andrew, Muriel ,Ernestine and Pauline.
