On October 8, 2020, Joyce Faison Jackson, age 70, heeded the Master's call and peacefully departed this life at home.  Joyce was the seventh child of the ten children of the late Daniel A. Faison Sr and Addie B. Faison. A native of North Carolina, she relocated to Washington, DC and resided here for 52 years where she met and married her beloved husband, William (Beaver) Jackson, predeceased.  She had a fulfilling career at the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (EEOC), retired.  Joyce loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Maple Springs Baptist Church.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memory: siblings - Daniel Faison Jr of Goldsboro, NC, James Faison of Goldsboro, NC, William Faison (Leona) of Newton Grove, NC, John Faison (Ruth) of Princeton, NC, Archie Faison (Crystal) of Washington, DC and Shirley Faison Everette of Upper Marlboro, MD; nieces; nephews; aunts; cousins; a special friend, Larry Woodard; and a host of other family and friends.

Joyce, a beloved sister, an awesome aunt, a precious niece, a treasured cousin, a wonderful friend.  You are missed.
