In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

With hearts full of submission to the will of Allah, we announce the passing of our beloved Joseph Edward Mooring (known in his Muslim community as Abdul Raqib Mooring), son of Kenneth Wiggins and Gloria Mooring- Davis, who returned to their Lord on March 7, 2025.

Joseph is survived by his older sister Monica Bolden (husband Troy Bolden), his younger sister LaTrice Davis (wife Ciara Davis), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was a devoted sibling and Muslim brother and will be deeply missed by all those whose path he crossed.

We ask Allah to forgive their shortcomings, accept their good deeds, grant them Jannatul Firdaus (the highest level of Paradise), and give their family and loved ones patience and strength during this difficult time.

The Janazah prayer will be held at Cedar Hill Funeral Home on March 13, 2025 at 9am. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 10:30am.
