On Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called home His son Jorge Ernesto Silva. Jorge was born in Quito, Ecuador and was one of six children born to the late Pedro and Elena Silva. He relocated to Washington, DC in 1979. He had a delightful sense of humor and a sweet personality. He was loving, kind, and generous to his family, friends and strangers. Jorge was a well regarded master watch repairman for over 65 years. Jorge was preceded in death by his beloved wife Maria Mercedes Silva and his brothers Luis and Pablo Silva. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children, Martha-Gustavo+, Luis-Gladys, Pablo, Jorge-Guadalupe, Magdalena-Miguel, Diego-Sarah, Estives-Erika, his sisters Teresa, Carmen and Elena (Kukita), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, a cousin and a host of other relatives and caring friends.
