It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Bryant Long, who departed this life on September 4, 2024, just days before her 82nd birthday. Born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Jean was the beloved daughter of Joseph Pittman and Elizabeth Bryant.

Jean lived a life filled with love, kindness, and a deep commitment to her family and friends. She was known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. Throughout her life, Jean touched the hearts of many, leaving behind cherished memories that will be forever treasured.

A  service to honor her life will be held on September 19th at Cedar Hill Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the service commencing shortly thereafter. Following the service, Jean will be laid to rest at Washington National Cemetery, where her family will continue to celebrate her remarkable life.

We invite all who knew and loved Jean to join us in remembering her contributions to our lives and the lasting impact she made. She will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts.
