James Jerome Grayton, 57, of Washington, DC passed away on March 14, 2013 at Washington Hospital Center.

Born May 13, 1955 in Cheverly, MD he was a son of Milton Jackson and Thelma Lucille Grayton.

Surviving is a son, James Jerome Grayton II of Washington, DC; two sisters, Patricia Cosby of Greenville, SC and Belynda Grayton Tibbs of Washington, DC; three uncles, David (Willa) Grayton, Eugene (Gloria) Grayton and Melvin (Sharron) Latimer; two aunts, Janie (William) Hawkins and Daisy (Edward) Gray; a devoted friend, Charmaine Lowe; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins as well as other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Cedar Hill Funeral Home, Inc., 4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Suitland, MD. Interment will follow in Heritage Memorial Park, Waldorf.

Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of services.
