James D. Carroll (89) of Newburg, MD, lovingly called Buddy passed October 9, 2011 at Genesis Healthcare-Waldorf. Born in Washington,DC and proud of his DC heritage. He was the husband of the late Edna E. Carroll. Raised two stepdaughters, Carolyn Bauer of Ocean View, DE, and Joann Azarkhish Moore (deceased). He is survived by two sisters, Mary Boteler of Silver Spring, MD and Anne Hughes of Jacksonville, Fla. He leaves behind four grandchildren and five great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, MD on October 29, 2011 at 11AM.
