Gloria Frances Dudley, daughter of the late Charles and Gloriadeen Foster was born on November 14, 1941 in Washington, DC. She departed this earthly life on Monday, October 14, 2019.

Gloria was educated in the DC Public School system. For over 30 years, she worked at Sibley Hospital in Washington, DC. She was a dedicated employee and loved her job. She later retired in 2004.

"Bug" as she was affectionately called by her family and friends, loved to shop and go to the Casino on her birthday. She enjoyed and loved her family and family gatherings. Her favorite color was Purple, and she had a laugh that will light up a room. On Friday nights, she enjoyed listening to music; especially songs by Marvin Gaye and Barry White.

Gloria was preceded in death by her daughter; Tawanda Dudley and her grandson; Devon Dudley. She leaves to cherish her memories to her two daughters; Donnette Dudley and Sharon Anderson and one son; James (Jimmy) Wilson, three sisters Lucretia Strothers, Geraldeen Foster, Delores Foster and her late brother; Charles Foster, Jr. One brother-in-law Raymond Strothers. 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
