Georgia M. Anderson was born on February 6, 1920 to the late Henry and Belle Lane-McWilliams. On Monday November 18, 2019 she went to be with the lord. Born in Enfield,NC where she received early learning in public schools. She later came to DC in the early 1940's. She was married in matrimony to the late Clarence Anderson. From this union came 1 daughter Patricia Anderson.

She fellowship at Bibleway and Greater First Baptist Church, She worked various jobs including housekeeping at Masonic Temple.Georgia enjoyed Roller Derby, Wrestling and The Washington Redskins. She loved going to the Howard Theatre and plays at the Warner Theatre. Georgia was famous for wearing fashioned hats and shopping at Hechts(Macys).

Georgia is survived by her daughter Patricia Anderson Jones, son in law Albert Jones, sister in law Sandra McWilliams and host of great nieces and nephews, nieces nephews and other relatives.

She goes to rejoin her parents and siblings that have proceeded her in death Henry and Belle-Lane McWilliams, Willie, Joseph, Mamie-Helen, James, Mildred, Herman, Oliver and Lena
