Ernestine "Tina" Lawrence, age 85 departed this world to be with her Heavenly Father on November 3, 2019 at the Washington Hospital Center.  She was born April 12, 1934 in North Carolina to Ernest and Tempie Bullock. Ernestine was raised in a Christian home with God-fearing parents who set an example for her to follow and who helped her build a firm spiritual basis on which to shape her life and prepare her for her Christian walk

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters: Diane Lowry (husband Fred), Ethel Lawrence, three sons Ernest, Carl and Bennie, nine grandchildren: Felicia, Nicole, Amber, Tony, Bennie Jr., Aaron, Jessica, Carlton and Eric, two great granddaughters: Maya James and Amara Lawrence.  Her sisters: Gladys Davis, Priscilla Thorne, Iola Cherry (husband Rossie), Marva Pierce, Maggie Bullock, Linda Gray, her brothers William Bullock (wife Lottie), Johnny Bullock (wife Edith) and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
