Ernest Lee Peele was born on April 5, 1943, in Martin County, NC. He transitioned on July 2, 2026. 

Ernest was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who was loved and cherished by all who knew him and will be truly missed. 

A celebration of Ernest’s life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Hemingway Memorial AME Church, 6330 Gateway Blvd, District Heights, MD 20747. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
