Eliza Jane was born on March 27, 1915 est. to Julia and Charles Brice in Langston, South Carolina. Eliza Jane was one of ten children, eight of which preceded her in death. She was the wife of the late Robert Moncrief and the late Hubert McComb.

Eliza Jane was an industrious worker in her younger years. She was a wonderful mother to her three children; Lattie Byrd, Ella Rea and James, who died at a very early age.

She leaves to cherish the memories of her life; her son Lattie Byrd Brice, her brother Robert Brice, six grandchildren; Theodora, Valerie, Ethel, Gladys, Elvin and Joseph, twenty-five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Most importantly, Eliza Jane leaves behind a legacy in Christ. She was known for being a woman of prayer. She lived by and could often be heard singing "Jesus will fix it for you."

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the service at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Cedar Hill Funeral Home, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, Maryland. Interment in Harmony Memorial Park in Landover, Maryland.
