Dorothy Aline Rollins

December 24, 1924 - June 23, 2018

Dorothy was born in Cartersville, Georgia. She was the daughter of Mary Elizabeth and Alton Galveston Harwell. She was 93 and 1/2 years old. At the age of 3 she moved to Washington, D.C. Three years later she moved to Edgewater, Maryland. She graduated from Annapolis High School. She worked as a copygirl for the Washington News. She then served in the Marines during World War II. After that she later married Paul Austin Rollins. Dorothy is survived by their two daughters Susan Benally, Paula Allen, a son Paul Alton Rollins, a granddaughter Selena Benally, and Patrick Rollins. She also had nieces and nephews and their families.

Dorothy will be honored by a viewing and funeral service at 10:00 a.m. July 6, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2000 George Washington Memorial Pkwy, Alexandria, Va . Brunch follows, then processional carrying Dorothy for burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Suitland, Md .
