Donald Ray Evans, 60, of Capitol Heights, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

Born August 6, 1952 in Washington, DC, he was a son of the late James W. and Leathia C. (Simonton) Evans.

On June 14, 1991, he wed the former Barbara L. Salmond, who survives along with a brother, Larry Evans, and two nieces, Tyrisa Salmond and Teresa Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Cedar Hill Funeral Home, Inc., 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, Maryland. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the hour of services.
