Denise Lightning was born on December 27, 1959 in Washington, DC to Irene Lewis Lightning and the late Lloyd Lightning.
Denise was educated in the Public School System of the District of Columbia, graduating from M. M. Washington High School.
Denise had a warm smile and a kind heart for all, she will be missed but never forgotten.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Lightning; her brother, Lloyd Lightning, Jr. and her sister, Sherry Lightning.
Denise leaves to cherish the memories of her life; her daughter, Tanjanickia Lightning; her son, Xzavier Lightning; her mother, Irene Lightning; her brother, Napoleon Lightning; her sisters, Anita Lightning, Tyrene Huff and Lenora Frazier; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Cedar Hill Funeral Home, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, Maryland. Interment will be in the Washington National Cemetery in Suitland, Maryland.
