In Loving Memory of Delores Ware Gaskins September 6, 1949 – February 3, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Delores Ware Gaskins, who departed this life on
February 3, 2026. She was a woman whose life was rooted in faith, love, and unwavering
devotion to her family.
Delores had a deep love for music and found her greatest joy in the church. Her faith guided her
every step, and her praise and prayers were a source of strength for everyone around her. She
carried herself with grace, wisdom, and quiet strength, always putting her family first.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her son, Leonard Gaskins; her seven grandchildren;
and four precious great-grandchildren, Jaden, Skyla, Dallas Ware and Rya.
Delores had an unbreakable bond with her oldest granddaughter, Shernira Gaskins, whom she
lovingly raised from just three months old. Their bond was built on unconditional love, sacrifice,
and guidance. She was not only a grandmother, but a mother figure, protector, and lifelong
source of strength.
She is also survived by her 2 sisters, 3 brothers, her dear sister-in-law, and a host of nieces,
nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Proverbs 31:25–28:
"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with
wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. Her children arise and call her blessed."
Delores truly embodied these words. Though she is no longer with us physically, her spirit, her
faith, and her love will remain in our hearts forever.
