On July 3rd, 2019, our Lord and Savior called his faithful servant, David Lopez home.  He was born on August 20, 1949 in Acapulco, Mexico.  He moved to the United States in 1971 and was retired from the Capitol Hill Club in Washington DC.

He was an active and faithful member of the Saint Bernardine of Siena Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gabino and Lina Lopez and by Elizabeth Lopez.

He is survived by his daughters, Nelly Lopez Johnson (Kenneth) and Dina Lopez Hutchinson (Tink); grandchildren: Joseph, Angela and Jade; several great-grandchildren; his brother-in-law, Jose Rafael Dasilva; many, many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews; and special church family, including Gaspar, Ana and Gicell Ademan.

His celebration of life begins at his viewing on Saturday July 13th at 10 a.m. at St. Bernardine Of Siena Roman Catholic Church located at 2400 Brooks Drive in Suitland, Maryland 20746 followed by a mass.

The family will receive friends and family at Siena Hall behind the church immediately after.

Cedar Hill Funeral Home will provide their services for his requested cremation.
