Daisy Handy Dolsey went home and joined the family reunion February 25,2021. At 103, she outlived them all. Reverend Richmond H. and Julia Ann Bivens Sturdivant; Two brothers, Six sisters, Three husbands, One child and two grandsons.

Born in Union county North Carolina, Daisy graduated form high school and married her first husband. She later moved to Washington, DC where   she was a seamstress at several high end boutiques in Georgetown. She sang in her church choir and was also an usher.

Daisy left a note before her death giving a special thank you to Ruth and Beadie for the care they gave over the years, and to the staff, the nurses, the doctors and the social workers at Inspire Rehabilitation and Health Center for their support she was given over the years.

She also wanted to thank Deborah and Angela, a very special niece.
