Devoted, Courageous, Strong, Supportive, and a Healer are all words that are used to describe Corrine F Norris Slater. She departed this life at 6:45 am on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Washington Hospital Center, to go to her new home with the lord.

Corrine joins her parents Bertha and Preston Norris; her six siblings Randolph Norris, Marie Norris, William Norris, John Henry Norris, Frank "Jimmy" Norris, and Thomas Norris; her husband Pernell Slater Sr.; three sons Melvin Taylor, Leonard "Lenny" Taylor, and Pernell Slater Jr.

She leaves behind, but is still watching over eight children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and host of relatives and friends.

We are celebrating her journey to be with the lord on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Cedar Hill Chapel. The viewing is at 10 am and service is at 11 am. Her final resting place will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
