Clara Elva Manning 94 of Mt. Rainier, MD peacefully passed away on February 19, 2023.  She was born on February 18, 1929 in Hickory North Carolina.  She married David Ralph Manning on September 30,1950 and raised four daughters.  She is survived by her sister Elouise Mathews, children Karen (Mike), Diane (John), Joyce (Dave), Janice (Bob), grandchildren David, Patrick, Michael, John (JD), Adam, Michelle, David, Daniel, Kelsey, Kevin, Emily, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She will be remembered as a kind, humorous, loving and supportive wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother,great grandmother and friend. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her honor to your favorite charity or place of worship.
