Obituary
Christine Yvonne Powell, born on February 9, 1931 in Grandfield, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of France Thompson and Ada Wooten.
A devoted friend and cherished family member, Christine's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held on Friday, December 27th, at Greater 1st Baptist Church, located at 2701 13th St NW, Washington, DC 20009. The family will welcome friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM followed by a service to celebrate Christine's life. All are invited to join in honoring her memory.
