Charlie Patterson was born January 31, 1943 in Troy, South Carolina. He peacefully transitioned from earth on August 10, 2025.

Charlie was a beloved Father and cherished by many. His warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, August 29, at New Bethany Baptist Church, located at 1300 10th St NW, Washington, DC 20001. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service following immediately afterward.
