Charles Edward Laymon, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and United States Navy veteran, will be remembered for his love of family, his laughter, his entrepreneurial spirit, and the memories he created with the people he loved.

Charles served his country in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1978, proudly serving as a Cryptologic Technician.His years of service were an important part of the man he became and the life he lived.

On July 6, 1985, Charles married the love of his life, Valencia. Together, they shared more than four decades of marriage, building a life filled with family, laughter, challenges, accomplishments, and memories.Through more than 11 years of illness.'Through every chapter, I held your hand."Valencia remained faithfully by his side, walking with him through each chapter of his journey, with their son Charleston close by.

Charles was a family man. He cherished his mother, Sarah Wells, his son, Charleston, and his extended family. His brothers and sisters from Bridgeport, Connecticut, Warren, Ohio, Nashville, Tennessee, and beyond were part of a family connection filled with stories, laughter, and memories.
