Obituary

Charles Wilbur Dubose was born February 18, 1943, to the late Annie and Jack Dubose at Freeman's Hospital, Washington, DC. He entered eternal life February 23, 2021. He was proceeded in death by his brothers James, Harold, Jack and Howard and one brother–in-law Paul Ray.

He was educated in the Prince Georges School system. After high school he started his career with the Safeway Corporation until his retirement.

Charles gave his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Sylvan Vista Baptist Church. He later joined Southern Friendship Missionary Baptist Church November 24, 2011, where he served on the Van, Outreach/Food Pantry and Usher Ministries. He was always willing to help wherever needed.

He enjoyed working on cars, horseback riding and taking long road trips. He especially enjoyed collecting and listening to all typed of music. Charles enjoyed his life to the fullest until his health began to decline.

Charles is survived by his loving daughter, Shedonna, two grandchildren, Tiffany and Lela; two great-grandchildren, Niaya and Nijel; god daughter, Dionne Robinson; one sister Mary Ray; a special longtime friend Pearl Daniels, a host nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
