Carolyn "The Queen" Callaham of Washington, DC, peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, September 17, 2018. She was 71 years old. Carolyn was born in Oxford, NC to the late Elizabeth Harris and Jessie Harris. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband George Callaham, children Patrick Harris and Tonya Chatman, her grandchildren Denise Fogle, Kevin Chatman and Xavier Harris, two great-grandchildren, sisters Jacqueline Harris and Janice Harris, brothers Joseph Malone, Keith Malone, and Anthony Malone, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Patrice Chatman, sister Patricia Harris and brothers Jesse Harris and Donald Harris. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 for a final viewing and celebration of life service beginning at 10am at Cedar Hill Funeral Home, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, MD 20746. All are welcome. Interment and repast immediately following. Flowers and/or donations may be brought to the service.
