Celebration of Life

Brenda Louise Nelson, born on October 22, 1956, is a woman whose life reflects strength, dedication, and love for her family.

Brenda was educated in the District of Columbia Public School System and built a life rooted in hard work and compassion. She was employed with MedStar Prince George’s Hospital Center, where she served faithfully until her medical retirement. Through her years of service, she made a lasting impact on those she worked with.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Leroy and Louise Nelson, 3 nephews, Brandon Williams, Joseph(Nick)Nelson, DeShaun Hollowman, 1 great nephew, Darrell Williams Jr., her aunts and uncles. Alfred Nicholson, Jr., Herbert Nicholson, and James Nicholson, sisters Gladys Eldridge, and Ellen Worthen.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters, Juanita Nelson and Ellen Bero (Patrick), two brothers, Leon Nelson (Lloyce) and William Nelson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives. A special friend Erica Hall.

A celebration of Brenda's life will be Saturday, April 18, 2026, located at Mt. Ennon Baptist Church, located at 9832 Piscataway Rd, Clinton, MD 20735 with the family receiving friends from 10:00–11:00 a.m. with services to follow.
