Ayinde' Kiata Williams was born on a beautiful Saturday, August 1, 1998 to mother, Aisha Beckett and father Larry Williams (Daddy). He lived in Virginia with his mom and then New Jersey during his earliest years. Ayinde' spent a great deal of time playing with his favorite cousin and best friend, Ajani Williams. At the age of three, Ayinde' was blessed with his second father, Antoine Hawkins, affectionately known as Poppy, and his big sister, Nia McCoy-Hawkins. Shortly thereafter, he became big brother to the twins, Ihsan and Zaki. During the second half of his short life, he resided in Prince George's County, Maryland.
Ayinde' was a child who was exceptional at everything he did from soccer to marital arts to basketball and baseball. He was also a master of games, learning and competitively playing chess at the tender age of four. Most people who knew him were pleased by his intelligence and ability to learn new things quickly and with ease. Every teacher took pride in having him as a student.
Ayinde' was confident, competitive and compassionate. He could barely stand to see anyone sad or in pain. "Brave enough to give and fearless enough to receive." Ayinde' was remarkable. Some of his happiest moments were spent with Daddy playing cards, checking out the latest movies and downloading his favorite music; or with Poppy learning to take something apart or put something together; or with Ihsan and Zaki teaching his brothers along with Nia how to reach some next level of a video game or matching wits with his Auntie Ajoke' Simpson. All of his grandparents agree and will attest that throughout their lives thay have rarely known such a wonderful child or person and each of them; Diane Williams (Grandmom), George Easterling (Pop-Pop), Wanda Easterling (Mom-Mom) and Ellen Hawkins (Nana) will miss him dearly. We will all miss him dearly.
The most important memory for any of us to keep is that Ayinde' loved and leaned on the Lord, Jesus Christ and during the time that his physical body was decreasing, his spiritual body was increasing.
